Awards Keep Coming in 2017

The 23rd Annual Communicator Awards is one of the leading international awards program recognising big ideas in marketing and communications. The Digital Embassy recently received 3 distinction Communicator Awards for website projects delivered for SuperFriend, Southern Cross Care (QLD) and Two Hands Wines.

Judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, the Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes. Being one of the largest awards of its kind in the world makes receiving industry recognition such as this all the more special.


SuperFriend – Distinction Award for General Health

SuperFriend is a national mental health promotion foundation. They are the only mental health organisation that partners with superannuation funds and group insurers to deliver mental health and well-being best practices into 750,000 workplaces across Australia. The Digital Embassy were commissioned to deliver a website solution that would help SuperFriend engage with, and foster, strong connections with their target audience – including funds, insurers, workplace stakeholders and key providers in the mental health sector. The website plays a pivotal role as part of an overarching digital transformation strategy for SuperFriend to become the ‘go to’ organisation for employers in Australia regarding workplace mental health and wellbeing.



Southern Cross Care Queensland – Distinction Award for General Non-Profit

Southern Cross Care (QLD) is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation that manages retirement villages and low cost housing, rental unit complexes and residential aged care facilities. Their core focus is geared specifically towards Community Care, Residential Care and Retirement Living. The Digital Embassy were tasked with developing a highly engaging and customer-centric website that showcases the valuable service and product offerings available from Southern Cross Care (QLD), as well as an in-depth library of informative FAQs detailing the myriad of lifestyle, health and housing related topics and services.



Two Hands Wines – Distinction Award for General Food and Beverage

Founded in 1999, Two Hands Wines has a grown to become a clear market leader, with wines sold in over 38 countries around the world. Their unique business approach to winemaking is reflected in everything they do, from the names of the wines through to innovative packaging and the wines themselves. Our task at The Digital Embassy was to design and build a ‘quality without compromise’ eCommerce website that showcased their innovative style. The website showcases Two Hands Wines global products and takes users on a similar journey to what they would experience if they were to come tasting at cellar door. Since its launch, the website has become industry benchmark and has won many awards both locally and overseas.
